Levels of Liberty:
Raising Capable Kids

A live class with Coach Meg Thomas to help you teach the real-life skills your kids need in six key areas—so you can stop guessing, start training, and give more freedom with confidence.

Happy group of friends

You want to raise kids who are responsible, trustworthy, and ready for real life.

But most parents feel stuck between two extremes:

  • Giving too much freedom too soon

  • Holding on too tightly for too long

And somewhere in the middle, parenting can start to feel like constant correcting, reminding, and wondering if your child is actually ready for more independence.

What if there was a better way?

What if freedom didn’t have to feel random, emotional, or confusing?

Liberties Should Follow Skill

In Levels of Liberty, I’ll show you how to raise kids who earn greater independence by mastering the skills that actually matter.

Because freedom without skills creates chaos. But when kids learn responsibility, self-management, and real-life capability, they can handle more liberty—and you can give it with peace.

This class will help you stop parenting reactively and start thinking with the end in mind.

In This Live Class, You’ll Learn:

1. How to Start Backwards
Learn how to think ahead to the day your child leaves home and ask:
What do I want them to know? What do I want them to be able to do? What kind of adult am I trying to raise?
Then I’ll help you reverse engineer that vision into practical next steps.

2. The Successful Six
You’ll learn the six areas every child needs to grow in to become a thriving adult:

  • Financial

  • Emotional

  • Mental

  • Physical

  • Social

  • Spiritual

3. How Skills Lead to Liberty
I’ll teach you how to connect responsibility with greater freedom in your home so your kids can earn things like:

  • Later bedtimes

  • More independence with friends

  • Greater trust

  • More responsibility

  • Real-life privileges that fit their maturity

4. How to Start Where Your Child Actually Is
This class is not about expecting too much too fast. It’s about identifying the next right step based on your child’s age, maturity, and current skill level.

This Is Not Just More Parenting Advice

This is a practical framework you can actually use.

You’ll leave with:

  • A clearer vision for the adult you’re raising

  • A way to assess where your child is right now

  • A simple model for teaching skills intentionally

  • More confidence in when and how to give greater freedom

Instead of constantly reacting to behavior, you’ll know how to train for maturity.

This Class Is for You If…

  • You want to raise responsible, capable kids

  • You feel unsure when to give more freedom

  • You want a better system than nagging and micromanaging

  • You are trying to prepare your kids for real life, not just get through the day

If you want to raise kids who are trustworthy, capable, and prepared for life outside your home, this class will give you a roadmap.

Come learn how to stop guessing, start training, and give greater freedom with clarity and confidence.
